By and large, a positive night, at least on the measures front. Measure 2, which bit off too much at once, is DOA. Measure 3, which was much ado about nothing? Toast!
And I really didn’t expect much on Measure 4, but I was pleased to see that it passed. It’s pleasant enough I can almost overlook the fact that corruption-endorsing Measure 1 eked out a passage from its misleading language.
Meanwhile the state GOP has egg on its face with a major primary loss (Cramer defeated Kalk for the House race), though perhaps not unsurprising given the disastrous convention they suffered through earlier in the year.
And I guess Max Laird can’t ever catch a break, either….
